Todowing

Todowing is a Chrome extension that restores the sub-task hierarchy in Todoist's Today, Upcoming, Filter and Label views. It shows the full sub-task tree inline, nested up to four levels deep, and also works in boards. Each sub-task row has its own due date, priority and labels, and you can check it off or reopen it without leaving the list.

It runs in the Todoist web app in Chrome on any Todoist plan, Pro not required. It does not work in the Todoist desktop app.

Free: nesting and row details for up to 5 sub-task rows per top-level task, seven color palettes, and text size scaling from 85% to 200%. No account needed.

Lifetime unlock, $19.99 one-time with no subscription: removes the row limit and adds sub-task editing and reordering from the list, hiding completed sub-tasks, filing a task under a parent in another project, a focus timer, time estimates with totals, a markdown notes pad above Today, a font picker, and read-only Apple Calendar events in Today. Future updates are included, and refunds are available within 14 days.

Privacy: your Todoist token stays in your browser and goes only to the official Todoist API. Tasks never reach Todowing's servers, and the extension has no analytics. Todowing is unofficial and not affiliated with Doist.
